Annual Convention Goes Virtual


With the help of YGS Association Solutions’ media sales and event management teams, NAHU transitioned its annual convention, newly dubbed the “Grow Your Business Expo,” into a fully virtual event. 


Due to COVID-19 restrictions, NAHU decided its annual convention, which had historically been a live event, needed to go virtual. YGS Association Solutions had two months to reach out to exhibitors and sponsors and provide them with the rationalization of why they should participate in NAHU’s virtual event. To support the sales team, we created a mini prospectus and developed innovative sponsorship opportunities featured in the new virtual platform. 


NAHU’s virtual event went off without a hitch. Unique sponsorship opportunities not only retained most sponsors, but also attracted 16 new companies—more than $53,000 in revenue. To further support NAHU and free up its staff’s time to focus on the attendee experience, YGS Association Solutions took on the role of event manager for all exhibitors and sponsors, assisting them with virtual booth setup, performing booth test runs before the event, and facilitating an exhibitor survey at the conclusion of the expo to support next year’s planning efforts.


We utilize a variety of channels to keep clients informed, provide feedback, and brainstorm new ideas.
